Abstract
Atatürk, who was the national leader of the Turkish War of independence and its aftermath with his multifaceted historical personality as a soldier, statesman, state founder and revolutionary, is undoubtedly a national hero for the Turkish nation. The foundation of this immortal heroism, of course, lies not only in his victories on the battlefield, but also in the principles, revolutions and reforms that have brought his nation to an independent, free and respectable state worthy of modern civilized societies. For this reason, Atatürk takes a distinguished place in our national history as a symbol of the Turkish nation.
