Abstract

By the time Armenian events could not been prevented, Ottoman Government passed the Deportation Law for Armenian citizens in 1915. The Deportation was not applied for Armenians in some provinces, İstanbul, İzmir, Kütahya, Balıkesir ect. Furthermore, Some Armenians who were trustworthy, craftsmen, merchants, homeless children, women and old Armenians were not deported in deportation districts. Some Armenians were hidden by some Muslims in their houses. Ottoman Government passed a law to return to home for Armenians in 1918. So some Armenians returned to their home. The religines and nations were counted the statistical information as for religians and nations was obtained thruyh the census of 1927. According to this census, There were approximately 140.000 Armenians. After 1927, Armenian people contiuned emigrating emigration from Turkey to other countries.
