Abstract
Ataturk's Principles form the central pillar of Republic of Turkey. Ataturk's citizenship concept which stemmed from the equality principle tooks its place in constitution. Without religous and racist connotation, this concept binds the Turkish people to each other. Despite this clear definition, it was seen that the prejudices and understanding regarding the other in society can not be overcome. This study first conveys the historical background of the Turks contact with Jews from its begining to present, then the findings of in-depth interviews with the 14 Jewish opion leader will be presented. By determing the problems of Turkish Jews, this study aims to make a contribution to the solution of these problems.
