Abstract
Among the special letters sent to him, if he had important documents, he would keep them in his own safe, and the remaining letters were placed in the files by his assistants, after the President, by the Kâtib-i Umumi (Secretary General) and the Chief of the Special Pen. In the Çankaya mansion, an Atatürk Archive was established by systematically classifying the letters belonging to the Atatürk period and letters sent to Atatürk long after Atatürk's death. Thus, a file and number number were given to the letters sent to Atatürk and placed in the cabinets.
