Abstract

The entire Aegean and Mediterranean were under the control of the Italian navy. The Ottoman navy, on the other hand, was too weak to be said to be absent. In this respect, it was almost impossible to reach Tripoli by sea. The young and star officers of the period, who saw this, went to Tripoli by providing secret support of the Ottoman Empire, one by two, Egypt and Tunisia. Mustafa Kemal, who was left unemployed in Istanbul, wanted to go to Tripoli.
