Abstract
Our topic is "Atatürk and Education Relations". So far, some small articles have been written on this subject. We want to approach the subject from a different perspective in this review. Atatürk's sociological and philosophical views are not adequately examined. From this point of view, his educational views gain distinct importance. In other words, his approach to the phenomenon of" Education "will be dealt with in terms of" Sociology of Education "and the " philosophy of Education". In this context, his educator personality, sociological, philosophical knowledge, and opinions, the innovations he brought to education will be clarified. Thus, the social view of the phenomenon of education in our country has gained a special quality with its personality. Turkish sociologists such as Ziya Gökalp, İ. Hakkı Baltacıoğlu and Prince Sabahattin brought a social perspective to the education of our country. Atatürk, on the other hand, has taken the social view of education both from a theoretical point of view and from a practical point of view and has introduced radical innovations in this regard. These qualities will be addressed in this review.
