Abstract

On October November 30, 1918, after the Armistice of Mondros was signed, Yıldırım Army Group command was disbanded and Mustafa Kemal Pasha returned to Istanbul on November 13, 1918. Three days after his return to Istanbul (16 November), Mustafa Kemal Pasha held a press conference with reporters from pulpit, Zaman newspapers. Part of the statement he gave at this meeting was published in the 18 November issue of the newspaper Zaman. In the pulpit newspaper dated November 17, 1918, this interview appeared in more detail.
