Abstract
An important rising were seen to school number opened to by foreign goverments in Ottoman lands after second half of XIX.centuries.In Maraş sanjak ,tied to Halep city, also foreign school number rised to very speedly. In Maraş; France, Germany, U.S.A. and also England opened to primary school , secondary school, lyce and some schools which university level.
Some of this schools had to special statute.Schools in orphanage aimed to vocotional education. Schools which had to special statute, taken to money from students. This money spent to school finance. In addition missioner organization also covered to this schools needs.Also this missionary organization paid to teachers salary.
Student mass of Maraş schools were Armenians. Catholic Armenians preferred to French schools. Protestans Armenians went to Americans and German schools.But Muslims rarely preferred to this schools.
