Abstract

Independence and the efforts of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, the state television CCTV prepared by the revolutions of the People's Republic of China, "World History" with a documentary television program's eighty second part are described. "Kemal Revolution", this documentary takes half an hour. In this documentary, Atatürk's efforts to turn an empire which was like a demolished building into a modern nationstate, through the eyes of this system are processed. In this paper, prepared by CCTV "Kemal" Revolution "documentary, the effect of Ataturk and the Republic of Turkey in the world, was evaluated in terms of reflection and perception. This documentary images and the language used in this context, impact and perception of these forms have been studied and tried to be solved. For this purpose, qualitative content analyses was used. In this documentary, made in order to raise awareness of the Chinese people against imperialism, aims to reinforce the current regime. For this purpose in the documentary "Kemal Revolution"; Independence, the people's movement, the struggle for liberation against imperialism and the understanding of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk's leadership. This struggle for liberation is described as a revolt and is given as the beginning of a modern nation. Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, who led the rebellion in the documentary, has been portrayed as a great leader and has been stigmatized as the Chinese leaders.
