Abstract
One of the main indicators characterizing underdeveloped countries is the lack of education and the low rate of literate people in the total population. It is observed that this ratio has increased and even reached one hundred percent in developed and developed countries. The relationship between economic development and education is clear and precise. In addition to the importance Atatürk attaches to education, the main feature is the fact that education insists on the positive and indispensable effect of education on economic development.
