Abstract
The term "national" forces "in the history of Kuvâ-yı nationality stands out as an expression used for irregular armed forces and forces. These forces, which we call Kuvâ-yı milliye, aimed to strengthen the protection and defense of the country against the enemy and to provide unity and solidarity. For this reason, the defense troops formed by ex-military commanders and soldiers and soldiers who participated in them against the invasion of the country against all kinds of attacks against the country, and the soldiers who participated in them, are called "kuvâ-yı milliye". According to Mustafa Kemal Pasha's account, the army is not in a position to fulfill the orders of the government, which is under the circle of the enemies. That is why the main duty, which consists of defending and protecting the homeland, is directly directed at the nation itself. The nation had made it compulsory for the individuals who had handed over to the army to defend their enemy-attacked areas and to protect the lives of their brothers who had been attacked by the enemy. This is what we call "Kuvâ-yı Milliye". The whole universe says so. In addition, there is an Organization of "Defense Law" as a political association with a legal and contemporary, social and general approach that has emerged even in the remotest corners of the country where arms are not in question.
