Abstract

We can summarize the events that continued the war of the Ottoman Empire as follows: The Allied Powers tried to keep the Ottoman Empire neutral but did not approach the alliance. Each other because they had other ambitions on Turkey. Russia wanted to officially rule the Straits, and to get to Eastern Anatolia by landing in Iskenderun. Britain accepted the Persian Gulf as a part of the Sattularap, India, and wanted to seize Palestine for the safety of the Indian road and the Suez Canal. France had an eye on Syria and Cilicia. It had to open fronts in various parts of the Ottoman Empire against the European Front, which was the final conclusion. The closure of the Straits by the Turks deprived Russia of all kinds of allied aid. Therefore, the final result was delayed. This delay did not only cause Russia to collapse, but it also cost its allies.
