Abstract
The Ottoman State was pushed into a great war because of the dreams and visibility of the leaders of the Union and Progress Party. In the First World War, which was entered without preparation and with many deficiencies, the Turkish Army had shown great sacrifices and engaged the Allied Powers. However, the resistance and even victories of the Ottoman State was wasted by the allies' withdrawing from the scene by making treaties with the Allied Powers. Desperate Turks also accepted the defeat by signing the Mondros Armistice on 30 October 1918. This defeat will result in Anatolia, which has been ruled by Turks for centuries, under the enemy occupation from place to place. Already during the First World War, western imperialist states have made plans to share Ottoman lands and signed some treaties for this purpose. The British, who were the strongest among the Allied Powers, had planned to use Greeks in the distribution and occupation of Anatolia. He had promised to give the Greeks that he would use for his purposes to give some Turkish lands in Western Anatolia. On June 22, 1920, the Greeks moved forward from Anatolia in three directions with a six division force to obtain the land they promised to give to the British in return for their services. Greeks from three branches with two branches in the direction of Akhisar-Soma, with two divisions in the direction of Salihli; They took action on the Aydın Front with a division.
