Integrity and Harmony between Atatürk's Right and Principles

Abstract

XX. Social structure, social change and mobility, social roles, social participation and political behavior analysis on the agenda of the sociology of the century; constitute the main study topics. In front of such an approach and fund of accumulation, it seems as interesting as it is difficult to examine both structural integrity and functional consistency between Atatürk's ideal and principles. President of the time Mr. Kenan Evren, in a speech he gave at Istanbul University in October 1985, said: "... Our universities, which are insurmountable science castles against bigotry, all the goodness and beauty of homeland and human love, free thinking and positive science, and especially Atatürkism. They are responsible for important duties and responsibilities such as learning and teaching.This article is not a pattern that is poured into the vicious circle of any ideology or doctrine; it is perhaps a critical review of a pragmatic thought system in the face of events.
