Abstract

Since the beginning of the 20th century, until 1945, it has been bumpy relations with the Ottoman Empire and Turkey with Italy. The settling in Tripoli, Italy entered the First World War to gain ground in Anatolia. For this purpose, it has signed secret agreements with Britain and France. But after the war, the Allies did not keep their promises to Italy. Italy supported the War of Independence that began in Anatolia in order to obtain economic concessions.
