Ismayıl Hakkı Baltacıoğlu’s Vıews On Physıcal Educatıon And Sports

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate the views of Ismayıl Hakkı Baltacıoğlu about physical education and sport as the founder in Yeni Adam which was a newspaper published from 1 Jan 1934 to 20 June 1979 and his other puplications. In this study, using survey methods, the fundamental works of Ismayıl Hakkı Baltacıoğlu about education was reviewed. At the end of this study, the views of Ismayil Hakkı Baltacıoğlu was revealed and it stated as to where physical education and sports events should be placed in his views.
