Abstract
Turkish Army was intended to be annihilated by discharging it upon the 30 October 1918 dated Armistice of Moudros which was signed after the First World War. The goal for doing so is to pave the way for the next moves which shall conclude the occupation of Anatolia. However, occupying forces couldn't make a precise calculation of it and met a re-formation and resistance in Anatolia. This formation is the struggle starting with the leadership of Mustafa Kemal and presenting the foundation of a new country. First İnönü War has an important place among these struggles. Because, this war is the first victory of the regular army which was formed by the new state to be founded. In this essay the war reports of the First İnönü War are reviewed and the formation and results of the war are discussed day by day and further it is presented how the Western Front Commander Colonel İsmet Bey commanded the war and the participating divisions.
