The Armenian Activities in İstanbul and Preventive Precautions

Abstract

After signing of the Mondros Armistice Agreement, the Armenian activities in İstanbul have been reactivated because of İstanbul occupation of the Allied Powers. In the Armistice term, the committees who came from Armenia and were set free from the Anatolia prisons, with the reorganization under the name of the Hıncak, Taşnak, and Armenian Defense Committee with the occupation management, they increased the terror activity in Istanbul. Also, Armenian Committees which have been organized and taken active duties in Istanbul Police Office by England, instead of providing of the peace and security, they have threaten of the Turkish's security of life and property, they had played an efficient role for arresting and punishment of a lot of people.
