Atatürk and Alphabet Reform

Abstract

From Atatürk's point of view, a well-educated and conscious society is required for the republican administration's establishment and survival. Generating such a society is primarily possible with an alphabet can be learned literacy swimmingly. At this point an Alphabet Reform is indispensable and it must be done. In this study firstly, Atatürk's ideas and studies about Alphabet Reform had been explained and then focused on issues such as Alphabet Reform's purposes, realization and implementation.
