Abstract

Hungarian People's great admiration for Atatürk is due to his leadership during Turkish Independence War and his great success for the foundation of Turkish Republic rigt after the War; more over during Atatürk's period the etnical and cultural closeness derİving fronı the past played an important role in strengthening the friendship ties between Turkey and Hungary . As in the world, the death of Atatürk not only led to a great deal of sorrowness as a results of close relations in the past. In this study, the reflections of Atatürk's death on Hungarian public opinion and the view of Hungarian about Atatürk have been studied.
