Atatürk Forest Farm in the Press (1925-1938)

Abstract
There are many evaluation elements of development and modernization of countries. One of these evaluation elements is the level of development of the capitals of those countries. In this context, examples of Ankara, the capital of the Republic of Turkey, the country has entered a rapid development process towards becoming a city. One of the most important of these steps is Atatürk Forest Farm. The farm was established in Ankara in order to combat malaria disease, to make the barren land efficient, to make the city beautiful, to provide social service to the city, to increase the agricultural production activities of the city and to revitalize the economy of Ankara with the industrial organizations. While performing these purposes, the farm has fulfilled its role as a model in all areas of the country.
Ankara has evolved into a model province in Turkey with its architecture, urbanization rate, greenlands agricultural areas thanks to Atatürk Forest Farm. While Atatürk Forest Farm served the country, it received financial support only from the Great Leader Atatürk's İş Bank account, and the financial resources were employed while buying farms and the buildings were built through the same incomes. In the process of modernization, it was believed that this process would continue as long as the patience and financial incomes existed. In line with these words of foreigners, Ankara reached the level of universal development in a short period of ten years.
