Abstract
The Vatican Archives contain archival documents related to the history of many foreign states. The Vatican State has many historical archives. Among these, the Vatican Apostolic Archive, which is the central state archive, is considered to be one of the richest archives in the world, with a horizontal length of approximately 85 kilometers of documents. Vatican Archives are of great importance for our history as it contains it contains letters and reports on the Ottoman Empire and the Republic of Türkiye. However, there is not any archive research catalog in these archives on documents about our history. This article will give general information about Vatican Archives. In addition, a study on documents related to the history of the Ottoman Empire and the Republic of Türkiye in these archives will be mentioned and information about some of the documents will be given to present examples of documents related to our history in the Vatican Archives.
