Abstract

After the Armistice of Mondros, some groups emerged in Istanbul. The first organization established after the armistice is"Police Station Cemiye ti". This society was founded by Talat Pasha's directive, initially with the aim of providing solidarity among the former union workers in Istanbul. The founders were Kara Vasıf and Şevket Bey of Galatalı. The society's work has been multifaceted. They also armed the people of Istanbul and the gangs on the Anatolian side. In addition to this, a range line (organization) was established in Kocaeli district in order to ensure the connection between Istanbul and Anatolia by organizing Istanbul districts and accidents.
