Abstract
In the context of the application of Mondros Armistice, one of the most important issues was to change armies into Corps Armies. According to the article 5 of the armistice the number of corporations and of their weapons vvould be decreased. İn this article, the change of the 6^ Army into the 13^ Corps army, which was located on the Iraq front, is examined under the following tittles: demobilization, the number of soldiers, the determination of new locations, abolishment of corporations, the change of officers, the increase of the number of officers and the closure of local military branches.
