Abstract

The primary reason for the Turkish War of Independence is the unfair and arbitrary application of the Mondros Ceasefire dated 30 October 1918, signed by the Ottoman State at the end of the First World War. This study examines the process from the Mondros Agreement to the Lausanne Treaty.
